At the end of December of 2022, a new apparel store popped up in our town of Cloverdale: Cowpokes. But what exactly is Cowpokes?
Cowpokes is a family-owned and -operated work and western outfitters store that sells men’s, women’s, and children’s boots/footwear, work and western wear, hats, jewelry, accessories, and home décor. There is also a tack department and an embroidery/screen printing department within the store. Cowpokes sells many different brands such as Hey Dude, Ariat, Wrangler, etc. However, apparel is not the only merchandise Cowpokes sell. They also sell horse tack, riding gear, cowhides, rodeo gear, animal care supplies, decor, and roping gear.
Cowpokes is located right next to the C Bar C Expo Center, the number one choice for equine and livestock shows. After shopping at Cowpokes, hop on over to the arena to watch events such as goat tying, barrel racing, pole bending, etc. all for free. Having been to both Cowpokes and the arena, I would highly recommend checking out the new store for yourself!
