Cloverdale Community School District Veterans Day Program

On November 11th at 9 o’clock, the Cloverdale Community School District held its annual Veteran’s Day Program at the high school. The program consisted of the following:

Prelude “Fanfare for the Unsung Hero”
Opening Remark from Mr. Stoltz
The Presenting of the Colors from Cloverdale American Legion
The Pledge of Allegiance presented by 3 rd and 4 th Grade Students
The Playing of Our National Anthem by the Cloverdale High School Band, 3 rd and 4 th Grade, and Cloverdale High School Choir

“America (My Country Tis of Thee)” presented by the 3 rd and 4 th Grade Students
“This is My Country” from the 3 rd and 4 th Grade Students
Middle School Essay Winner Zanna Caldwell with Why We Should Celebrate Veterans Day
A Recognition “Armed Forces Medley” from the Cloverdale High School Band
Middle School and High School Student Councils passed out Certificates
Guest Speaker Sgt. Cody Lindsay United States Army
“I AM A VETERAN” – A Poem presented by Abby Nees
“America of Thee I Sing” from Cloverdale High School Choir

“America the Beautiful” from Cloverdale High School Band
The Presentation of TAPS from Carson Hall, Performed by Samantha Dorman and Evan Yoho
Closing Remarks were given by Daphanie Geiger
Retiring of the Colors Cloverdale American Legion
