On Friday, August 26th, Cloverdale had its first of many chapter meetings during SUCCESS.
The meeting began with a:
-Call to Order
-FFA Officer Introductions
-Opportunities in FFA: We discussed events that members have been a part of in the past and the upcoming events to get involved with:
– District Kickoff (September 22nd)
– Chapter Kickoff: September 24th at Lieber 5-7 pm; more details to come.
– Livestock Skill-a-thon Contest: Practices are Monday & Wednesday from 3-4:30 & Friday 7:15-7:55am. The Area Contest is on September 13th.
– Soils: If interested in doing the soils contest, see Mrs. Clingan or sign up in the Ag Room.
Sign Up for FFA via the Google Form and pay $15 by September 15th! Can pay via cash or check

T-shirt sales will begin next week so be on the lookout for order forms. We will sell t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies & crewnecks.
Upcoming FFA camps at the Leadership Center in Trafalgar, IN:
SOAR (8th through 10th-grade members) 9/30-10/2 or 10/7-10/9; 11th-12th grade members can sign up to be a camp counselor with applications due 9/2.
FIRE (10th through 12th-grade members) 11/4-11/6 or 11/18-20
