A Guide to Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat is when kids trick or treat from car to car. It will be held on October 30th from 5-8 at the high school.

While most are familiar with the tradition of trick or treating on Halloween, most do not know about trunk or treating. Trunk or treating is when a bunch of people group together, usually in a parking lot with their cars, and they give out treats to kids.

People decorate the back of their cars, stock up on candy, and let children “trick or treat” from car to car in the parking lot. These trunk or treating events happen all over the country and it is no surprise that Cloverdale is holding its own “Trunk or Treat”.

However, there are many unanswered questions about Trunk or Treat and we have put together a collective list of FAQs to help guide you through Trunk or Treat.

The Trunk or Treat will be taking place in the Cloverdale High School parking lot and will be available to all on October 30th from 5-8 pm.

Where will this be located?

Trunk or Treat will be taking place in the main parking lot of Cloverdale High School. This way, trick or treaters will have easy access to free candy.

When will this be taking place?

This event will be taking place on October 30, 2021, and will coincide with the town of Cloverdale’s trick or treating times of 5 – 8 pm. 

What can I expect by attending?

You can expect cars being decorated in the parking lot and students giving candy to trick or treaters. Around 100 people will be participating in this event with help from the FFA (Future Farmers of America), choir, the high school girls basketball team, and the FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America). This event will be free of charge. 

Do I have to wear a face mask?

This event does not require you to wear a face mask. 

In conclusion, the Trunk or Treat will definitely be a great event in the celebration of Halloween. Everyone is encouraged to come and join in on the fun. So make sure you save the date on your calendar for Trunk or Treat!
